Custom type family created as part of the 2013-14 Extended Typeface Design Program at Cooper Union in NYC.
Influenced by hand-lettered “lobby cards” and signage from the 1930s and 40s, Perry is a high contrast serif face with round-rounds, narrow straights, flouncy legs. The family currently consists of 4 styles (regular, italic, bold and black), but there will be more to come! Perry comes with fun opentype features like stylistic alternates and ligatures.
